Mirage German Lozenge decals in 1:48 depict five color intermediate dark version. Accurately known as Fünffarbiger Flugzeugstoff. Lets take a look. I was pleasantly surprised. More application images to come.

Without a gloss overcoat on decals this thin it takes almost three times longer to do one surface as it usually does for me. Some modelers might give up in frustration with the decals folding over on itself during application. Though tough they are not indestrutable. So I have to recommend that you do give these two coats of clear gloss and letting them dry to the touch before using. But they lay down so well I have to say it is worth the extra effort.

These few words certainly got my attention. I am sure you wouldn't want to reveal anything you had been told in confidence but perhaps you might be able to let us know if we are talking about 1:48 scale?

I was told that I can't discuss the subjects that were mentioned. And there many subjects. So I am limited for now. But since the Mirage employees and owner come here, why not tell them what you want? Help give them a sense of what you would like.

By the way I had a slight typo in the review that has been fixed. There is enough lozenge decal for 1 completed Halberstadt CL type plus a bit extra incase you want instead to use it all on another type in 1/48.

I knew you wouldn't be able to talk about the subjects but I was hoping to hear that Mirage weren't going to abandon 1:48 scale.
Many manufacturers seem to be focusing on 1:32 lately and I am a little concerned that 1:48 may be dying out.
I was just hoping for a little reassurance.

Never fear about 1:48. The progression of the popular 1:72 to 1:32 is entirely based on the current group old guys still wanting to build and needing bigger subjects to do the deed.
