I just started a MPM Pe-2 1/48. I want to do the early version without the turret at the rear end of the canopy. I found a lot of cockpit details but only from later versions.
Has anybody any idea how the rear canopy opened to expose the gun? Was it folded or rotated down or...?
Any help is welcome

From the photos I've got, it looks like it slid down rearwards into the fuselage. I'll send you a couple of scans later.

That would be great!. I have never seen the early version done as a model and the photos i have show the area only from outside and below.
