I just got back into Model building after many years away. I have decided to build WW1 German Aircraft in 1/48 scale.
I have seen references to the Methuen Color system for the various color schemes found on the planes...
My Question is this : Is there a cross reference list of Paint manufacturers' Colors as to what they fit in the Methuen Color System???
I want to get the correct paint colors for the job and want to have a handy reference (if one is available)..
Thank you for Any & All assistance..,

IPMS Stockholm maintains model paint charts. Part One lists the paints by country and time period. Part Two cross-references the paints by manufacturer so you can find an equivalent in your favourite brand.
Rather than match to the Methuen system, the charts show mixes of available paints that achieve the colour in question.

Folks at Cybermodeler have a similar cross reference. With "scale effect" variations included.
