This is being done as more of a joke about "black helicopters" and conspiracy nutjobs. The kit is from the post-Lesney era when it was under a Chinese brand so there's a noticible difference in plastic with the Panther and Corsair.

MMS together and mocked up with the main rotor, need to add some rod to the mast.

Added some Evergreen rod to replace the piece removed when assembling the base of the MMS, also mocking up the fit of the main rotor and MMS.



Replacing the rail that runs along the bottom of the tail boom with Evergreen rod.



Modifying part of the rear cabin for more crew members.

Nice progress so far! Didnīt know that Matchbox also made a Kiowa. I like those multi colored kits.

I think it is always nice to improve an older kit.
