At 12:15 today the unthinkable has happened in my hometown. A F/A-18D from VFA-106 has crashed into an appartment building shortly after take-off. Today being a holiday schools are closed and there are no reports of civilian casualties as of yet. The aircrew ejected seconds before the crash. They did try try to avoid the populated area. but were not able to make it to the sea. Lets have these families in our prayers.
