Help please! Anyone know of purchasable 1/48 decals for 4F4-4 Wildcat during Midway, June 1942, including for LtCdr Jimmy Thach's #23 plane with the bomb carrying Felix the Cat badge? Can't seem to find any not out of stock, and at the end of my tether! Thanks, Dave

Here's one on e-bay in Canada, but hold onto your hat, they're asking $25 for the decal set.

Is that what you were looking for?

Thanks for looking and the information, Sean. Probably would have swollowed the C$25. Unfortunately, close, but no cigar. Doesn't have the June 1942 time period, or Lt.Cmdr John "Jimmy" Thach's plane markings. The search goes on! Thanks for the trouble and your willing to help. Good Karma! Best, Dave
PS: I'm pretty new around these parts - what is the medal for on your info page?
Thanks, Dave

Hi Dave, and welcome to Kitmaker. The medal is to acknowledge that the person has contributed an article such as a kit review for publication on Aeroscale in the last 12 months. If you hold your cursor over the items in the header it will tell you what you need to know.
Good luck with your decal search.
Cheers, D
