Greets Peeps,

A while ago I read a thread about how to glue clear fuselages/wings together.

A bought a Phantom Mustang; the seller wrote that he built one and used UV activated glue. It dried invisible. He does not recall the name.

That's neat. But I don't think that stuff's available in my locale. I stick to the inexpensive Elmer's Glue All (white glue). CA tends to frost clear parts and liquid cement melts it some.

I like to play it safe.

I use Model Master Clear Parts Cement for clear parts. It has a few advantages :-),
It does not yellow or leave unsightly residue and it’s non-toxic, so it washes up with water (before it dries) if spills occur. If you ever lose a clear part, you can make clear windows with it as well, although I have not tried this.
Disadvantage is it’s not the strongest glue , so be careful when using on parts which can be pushed into the model when glued on the inside (The passenger windows on the Heinkel 111 for instance).

I agree here, white glue is the way to go. it is slow to dry, but once dry it is transparent . Wont frost clear plastic and makes a great filler!
