I've started dressing up the fantastic Zvezda DB 601 with a few resin and PE parts from an FM Details DB605 engine.The kit's engine surpasses just about any other plastic (I haven't had the time to check the DBs that come with the Cyber Hobby 110s the new Eduard E's 601 but I'm sure that it's as nice as the former and definitely better than the latter) or AM DB engine...it only needs a few details added to turn it into a real gem in its own right!It's so nice that it could be sold alone or even upscaled to 1/32 without losing finesse......it's THAT nice!
One of the most obious changes will be filling the holes for the spar plugs leads and drill new ones typical to the DB605 A; it'll be done on one side only though,since I'll leave only one cowling panel open!

The exhaust stacks come from Vector's resin upgrade set for the F-2.They're hollowed at the ends and even got nice welding seams to them.
