Hi,Im building Tamiyas Sky raider U.S. airforce in the S.E.A. scheme Ive sprayed the Tamiya reccomended colour on the underneath now it dont look right to me Ive checked photos of the real plane and many models and their colour is far lighter almost like a off white,the colour I used was XF 66 light grey,can any one point me to this lighter colour or a mix recipe I have easy access to vallejo, tamiya humbrol and revell paints appreciate any help offered.

The USAF's undersde colour was FS36622, a warm off-white grey. The IPMS Stockholm colour charts advise that the Tamiya equivalent is XF-19. Remember that much of the belly got covered in oil and muck.

Remember, if a radial engine isn't lealing oil, it's broken.
