What is the proper color for the fuselage interior on a Lancaster? I have the 48th scale Tamiya Dambuster and was wondering what to paint it. The directions show a mix of 3 Tamiya brand paints but I was wondering if there is an easier way to accomplish the same thing.

The green is "RAF Interior Green" It's available premixed from Humbrol, Model Master, Xtracolor and likely others as well. The black is plain flat black.

The Lancaster fuselage was made in three separate sections; the front, back to just in front of the mainspar, was all-black inside, while sections 2 & 3, from spar to rear turret, were interior grey-green, as Jessie says.

Went in to work at my LHS and looked for RAF Interior Green by Model Master and naturally we are out of that one! Just checked Sprue Brothers and they are out of it also. Guess I'll keep looking.
