Hi everyone,
I thought I'd post some progress pictures of my 1/48 Grigorovich M5 by Copper State Models. Maybe some of you will remember my Sierra kit build here on Aeroscale from a few years back. Here's the kit..........
I've made a jig for the fuselage so it will remain level for the wings and tail................
The test fit of the fuselage parts looks good overall..............
I don't like the fuel container, it's not round so I cut out a piece of brass tube and made another one......................
more soon,
Mark

Hi everyone!
I've had some time to get the fuselage ready by filling in some air bubbles and seam marks on the bottom of the hull and have it primed and the basic interior wood grain painted. I had to remove the interior formers because they didn't line up...I'll replace them with styrene......................
And I have the top wing together and primed with automotive primer.
Thanks for checking in!

Excellent! all resin builds seem to have their own approaches.
