Hello all,
yesterday I received my first Zvezda model, the 1/72 MiG-21 bis. A really nice kit indeed. The sturdy and resistant box was factory sealed, but the sprues were not bagged and floated in the box, canopies included. In a review I read a transparent stand for displaying it inflight was supposed to be provided, but no trace of it (nevermind, I wouldn't use it though), and there is a further nosecone detached from its sprue.
Moreover, the decals have a yellowed film, but I already planned to get another sheet.
Luckily, the rest is fine and undamaged.
Is this Zvezda's policy for packagings???
I don't want to start a complaint, but I think they should better make a little effort and seal the sprues as any other manufacturer in order to avoid the parts being damaged or lost.
Any other experience?
