Hello,
Am building a 1/48th Corsair. Looking to cut some of the wing panels out and putting gun bays in them. I built the gun bays but have never modified a model this much. Any tips or things to watch for while I'm cutting?
Thanks,

It's best to cut inside the panel lines, then sand and trim to the line to avoid cutting out too much. Drill a series of holes around the inside perimeter of the panel you want to remove, then using a sharp exacto knife cut through to join all the holes. This leaves a ragged bit of plastic around the outside to clean up. Replace the removed panel with plastic card. Take your time to avoid mistakes.
