P-47n academy tail section?

My question is this I'm have main assembly done and seam lines preped but the section in front of the tail wheel with the vent has a major seam line inside that is visible.is there a part that's supposed to go here first p-47 and I can't find a pic of this section any where help?

I suppose you're talking about the supercharger exhaust vent on the belly. I'm not familiar with the Academy offering but there's must be round plate similar to the P-38 superchargers. Most models do not supply this part, so there is a gap. If there is no part you have some options:
- to put a thin aluminum foil on the inside of the vent to cover the gap;
- to use a spare part from another model.
- or, the easiest (may be) way, to find this PE set from Eduard: http://www.eduard.com/store/out/media/49326.pdf
- or to use it as a guide what to do with the vent.
