Hi guys,

Does anyone currently offer a 1/32 kit of the Bolton Paul Defiant? I haven't turned up anything that's readily available and I just wondered if someone might know something I missed .

Cheers,

Will.

I missed this when the question was first asked...while there is STILL no 1/32 Defiant in injection, resin or vac plastic, the Polish company Orlik makes a detailed paper model in 1/33. I built the cockpit for a group build earlier this year (http://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=260&t=8505) and I think that the paper parts would provide great templates to build a large scale plastic Defiant with relative ease...

Actually there has been a 1:32 scale resin kit of the Defiant by Scratchbuilders: http://www.largescaleplanes.com/reviews/review.php?rid=1017
There seems to be one on Ebay at the moment too, bidding starting at 99 bucks.

Yeh it's often the case that there are OOP kits that I want but nothing currently available for less than a kidney !!

That's a nice kit though, apart from the slightly iffy looking canopies it looks pretty tidy.

The Orlik card one is really nice, if it is accurate it would indeed make a really nice reference for a kit. It's hard to find accurate bulkheads etc sometimes.
