Thought this would be of interest. One of my favorite British aircraft had a landing gear failure (or should I say under carriage ). Pilot alright, aircraft not a total loss.

Aw Man, that just breaks my heart!! I'm very glad the ppilot was safe but the disposition of the aircraft brings one to tears! Thank you for sharing Russell.

I saw a Firefly at the Fighter Factory in Virgina Beach a couple of weeks ago, but it had a red spinner. Is this the same one?
