Hi everyone!
Been a long time since I've been at the modelling bench but since my surgery on Tuesday I've had quite a bit of spare time. I finished a 1/72 Westland Navy Lynx heli and now I'm finishing up a Banshee that's been sitting half built on my bench for over a year now. Hopefully I'll be able to complete it tomorrow.

Before you get to the nose gear be warned that Hobbycraft made a mistake and gave the kit an F2H-2's strut, not the -3's. You'll have to cut it and extend it by 2-3mm in order to make the kit sit properly. Lickily it's an easy fix

Looking good. I've got that one in the stash, love to have it as a compliment to my F2H-2P. Thanks for the heads up on the NLG.

Thanks for the heads up! I don't have any styrene rods or anything available so I'm going to try and do it with some stretched sprue.

If the sprue doesn't work out, a piece of paperclip the correct diameter would do well.
