well, i've just used Alclad for the very first time. Been putting it off for a while and finally decided to bite the bullet and get on with it
I was surprised how easily it went on and how realistic it looks. It did take a little while to clean the airbursh afterwards though. i'm used to using Vallejo air paints and these celan out very easily, this time it took a little longer.
Just thought i would share with you all.........

Alright, I have several models soon to be ready for Alclading.
I understand one does not "thin" Alclad, but what "thinner" do you use for clean up? Acetone? Testors 1159?

You use cellulose thinners to clean up Alclad. I think, as it is called a lacquer thinner, Testors 1159 is similar/equivalent. As these are pretty nasty (as is Alclad), a volatile solvent-filtering mask is important for safety.
