Howdy all,
After my F15 is finished (in some months I guess) I'm willing to build a C130.
Has anybody over here ever built a 1/48 C130 Hercules ?? If yes, what brand ?
Offer these kits value for money ? Do they have proper interior detail or are they just humongous empri pipes ?

I would recommend the Testors/Italeri one. It comes in various marks. I do know the AC130 gunship had an interior.

I believe that the Italeri/Testors kit may be the only kit in 1/48th scale.
Here's a nice build article by Dave Aungst.

There's also a review

I know that there are other reviews on the net. This is one truly massive kit. It's one of those models that get's started a lot more often than it get's finished though.
In terms of value, $50-60 bucks for this much plastic is pretty good. You'll need at least a tube of filler and a dozen sheets of sand paper to work on all the seams, this model is huge!
Hope this helps you in your quest to build that beast.
