Hi all !
Inkjet printers have a poor reputation when it comes to doing decals.
Does anyone know the price level ( in pounds sterling ) that a suitable laser printer comes in at? It would need to be able to print colour, plus actually putting white down when required.
Thanks in anticipation
Clive
I am contacting manufacturers by e-mail, but advice from people with actual experience would be invaluable.

Laser printers don't actually do white; they use the background paper to do that. You'd need a wax transfer printer like the ALPS used to be in order to do white. Also, laser colours tend to be transparent (more of that white paper background thing) so you need to apply them over white paint.

I usually take artwork with white laser safe decal film to "Kinkos" office supply. The MSDS or decal instructions will assure the employees that its safe to use.
