here is my latest , it is the 1/48 scale Kitty Hawk F-35B Lightning II built straight from the box. I have built this for a future edition of Model Airplane International and as such I will not show more than the two images here . Hope that you like her?

That looks alright, though would really like to check one out in the real as you can't see as much from low res pics on the web.
A decent kit, but unfortunately like Hasegawa, the raised LO detail is quite overdone. There will be lots of sanding to get it to scale. Like I mentioned before, the wheel are totally wrong. On the plus side the cockpit is decent, though a bit on the soft side.
I was curious about the intake duct fit and clean up. The dry fit test I've done don't seem to be that clean.
One thing to note is that’s quite a fictitious display, as of course the canopy would be completely closed during flight and/or vertical take-off; not to mention the Weapons Bays would be closed as well.
Nice work though, and quick too seeing how the kit just came out.
