I've always maintained that a half built vac kit frightens many modellers, while a completed vac kit just looks like any other model. Let's test this theory. One of these models is the Welsh vac kit and the other is Minicraft's injection kit. I won't say which is which.

Hi Jessica
My vote for vac kit would be the TAL.

very cool! Nice thread. they look very good next to each other. I sometimes wonder if building models of the same plane by two different makers will reveal dimensional problems with one or the other,(which is often true of N scale trains) so I've avoided doing this.
Your two 377's prove to me that the Minicraft kit is as accurate and, can be made to look as good as the Welsh vacuform kit!
Im going to say the Transocean is the Minicraft, because of the very deep exaggerated recesses around the ailerons and rudder - the details on Welsh models I think tend to be more subtle.

Hi, Jessica. I also vote for the TAL. To me it looks "softer"- if that means anything. All the best.

I'm going to go with the TAL for the vac.

Two great looking models but like other have said I would say that the TAL is the vac kit

This has been amusing
The TAL is Minicraft. So much for the "tells" everyone's been relying on. Welsh kits are as a rule much more detailed than Minicraft's earlier efforts.
