It seems that Canada Post's mail mangling machines don't like Roden Staggerwings. Mine was also crunched to such an extent that the plastic around the cockpit was bent. Note the white stress lines.

The problem with it is that they ship the kit with the boxes flattened to cut down on the shipping cost. Not really CP's fault since the item that is supposed to protect the stuff in the box is already flat.
It's a trade off, cheaper shipping but take the chance that your kit will be damaged by the time you get it.
