Hi guys i would just like to know would an after market resin SU-27 nose cone be ok for an SU-30 ??? i have just received my latest kit a 1/48 SU-30 and the nose cone is way off , the only resin one i can seem to find is for the SU-27 ..

Hi Dave, I thing the resin Su-27 nose correction is ok but I have not checked it myself. There are several different corrections on the market so might pay to look around.

you might want to do more research on that nose area - there is a marked change between the su-27 and later models of that aircraft in the nose region. Check this link for some details, particularly this drawing:


I believe the su-30 nose is probably more like the su-27 nose (and therefor you can use the aftermarket su 27 nose), you should do some research as i am not entirely sure.
