For some time now I have been building this model. I stopped because it was missing some paint for camouflage.

What I had done.

After the wells of the landing gear doors, landing gear and wheels.

And after arrived the paints applied the RLM 76. Here with the lights already applied.

Antonio

That is looking good, I really like the paint on the wings. Can't wait to see it done. I have built that kit, and it was a real enjoyment.

Kevin thanks.

I finished the painting, the lights and shadows of the model. Now, gloss clear and then the decals.

Love the camo scheme. Could you perhaps enlighten us mere mortals as to how you obtained the washed out effect?

Looking foward to seeing the final product.

Mike

First apply light and shadows.
At the XF-5 (green) joined few drops of white and applied the lights. With XF-1 (black) applied the shadows. The two colors about 70 to 80% of thinner.

With these colors I apply after rows with fast passages and airbrush almost closed. First with XF-5 and then with XF-1. On the wings and stabilizers in the direction of flying . In fuselage apply perpendicular lines.

I have an Il-2 on the bench. I'm painting the camouflage. I've applied the brown and I will now paint the green. I'll take pictures, step by step, and then post them here.

Thanks chukw1 .

Crosses painted on the sides of the fuselage, I applied a bit of silver with the help of a sponge and applied the varnish.

I put the decals, applied a wash, and then a matt clear. I glued the front landing gear.
