Hi all
We should be getting a sample of Eduard's new Weekend Edition of their popular 1:48 Roland C.II soon:
If anyone fancies having a go at a Review-Build, just drop me a line.

That's a perfect biplane for beginners new to sticky airplanes, because the struts and rigging are so simple. If you've never done something from the Great War, give this one a try. You won't regret it.

Hi all
Not surprisingly, this has attracted a bundle of offers, so to be fair I've had to go purely with who was "quickest to draw".
I'm delighted to announce that Mike Wood will be cutting his reviewing teeth on this beauty for us, so look out for his build in the near future.
Thanks to everyone who's offered to tackle it. Rest assured there will be other chances coming soon.

Hi Rowan,
this is a wonderful opportunity you are offering.
I am thinking to apply next time...and of course I'll need your advice (in case I'll be the chosen one!)
One thing worries me, though: is there a timeline for delivery?
thank you
ciao

Hi Edo
Definitely keep your eyes peeled for future samples, as it'd be great to have you tackle one for us.
Deadlines? Well, ideally I think you should be aiming to do an in-box review within a week or two of the sample arriving (especially if it's a hot new kit where there's likely to be a lot of interest). But the build? - well, that really takes as long as it takes. So long as you post updates and make steady progress, a manufacturer should be delighted - and hopefully there's something for the front-page at the end of it.

I built this one. It is a good clean build that can be accomplished rather quickly. It really looks good completed. Have fun with the review. It is a great kit.
