Hi All,
A very quick question.
I've purchased the Italeri rebox of the Accurate miniatures Dauntless, but I'm a little confused with the construction of the radial engine.
Should the ignition wires attach to the cylinders or should it just sit in front, i ask as the ignition wire harness appears to be to short.
Would I be better to
a)leave as is without attaching to the cylinders
b)scratch build a new set of wires
c)try something else.
Comments/suggestions please.

The Dauntless engine had two spark plugs per cylinder; one in front and the other behind. For maximum authenticity the wires should wrap around the tops of the cylinders, but once the engine's assembled, painted and inserted into the cowl the fact that they don't isn't terribly apparent. It's up to you whether you want to do the work to replace them.
