Can someone tell me where the machines guns (2-7.7cal guns installed) would be added for this japanese type 93 floatplane as the model does not have these parts but does state of being on this plane as well as bombs but does not show where?

I have seen a photo somewhere of a rail surrounding the rear cockpit for the rear gun on a model, but haven't seen anything about a forward gun.

Since the Willow was predominantly an intermediate trainer, perhaps the addition of guns was improvised later in the war as a home defense initiative. perhaps the 'fact' that it had guns and bombs was an error which was perpetuated over time.

I understand that the Tiger Moth was fitted with bombs during the Battle of Britain, but I haven't seen any pictures, only read that the bombs were on external racks on the lower wing.

good luck, it would be interesting to see what turns up. The willow was graceful aircraft, and I wish it were kitted by a more mainstream company.

Cheers.
