I just finished up my latest 1/72 project of Lt George Welch's P-40B that he flew on Dec. 7th 1941 at Pearl Harbor.
I started with Airfix's new Curtiss Hawk 81-A-2. The build was pretty much OOB with the exception of the decals and some PE gunsights from Eduard. The decals were from Starfighter. This kit was a blast to build, and went together very easy. Fit and finish of the parts were super good, and the I had very few problems with anyting during the build. Here are some pics. See more of the plane as well as the build on my site www.gassaninedesigns.com

Wonderful job, Tim. Just wondering, was your canopy mask tape trimmed to fit? The clear canopy stands out and the paint job a real treat.

Marvellous. The decals let you down I think, but it would have been too good otherwise I think!
