I knew Franz when we were both volunteering for the Canadian Museum of Flight in Langley back in the late 1980s and early '90s. I heard him tell that story several times and I was extremely glad that he and Brown had their chance to meet. It's one of those stories that you'd never believe unless you actually heard it from the people who were there. It restores your faith in humanity.
