Hi,
Has anyone built the Academy F15E Strike Eagle (Kit 1687/FA069)?
I am building it at present and both the actual kit and instructions only show the model as having one external drop tank. This seems very odd because pictures online of the Academy F15E Strike Eagle Operation Iraqi Freedom kit shows it as having two.
I know they are different kits, but it seems odd for any aircraft to have only one wing mounted external drop tank because this would cause considerable balance issues in flight.

Eagles use the same tank as a belly tank on the centreline pylon. It's fairly common to see them with only that one tank because it frees up the wing pylons to hang bangity things from.
