Here my new build blog, about Nieuport 11 in Russian service, pilot A.Kаzakov, he shot down 17 enemy planes personaly and 15 in group, he was the best fighter pilot in Russian empire






as always I started my build from engine







the cockpit was next

Greetings Oleg,

Forgive this but your seat looks too far back. Pilot would have a broken neck just trying to fly.

Here is a "normal" Nieuport XI forward fuselage.

Wow, even in Stephen's photo of the real one, that seat looks to be at a mean angle. I wonder why? I can't imagine the pilot being comfortable in flight atitude, especially in a combat.

in Ukraine and Russia we have a very funny joke "Chelyabinsk's men are so severe, that they can break the metal urinal by their own stream" (I hope you'll understand the meaning of this joke ) and I think that the pilots in WW1 were also "very severe", that they used to fly on such planes
