Hello all,
My son like the A-10, but looking around hobby boss comes up as the go to kit. It seems priced up there and a bit out of his range. What modern kits can you modelers suggest? 1/72 and 1/48. Help a father out a break his sons dependance on his playstation, lol.
Thanks

That one's a bit complicated for a beginner to build; it may discourage him. May I suggest the 1/72 Italeri or Revell kits as an alternative? They're smaller, less complicated, easy enough to build and still look like an A-10 when they're finished. The Academy kit is also good, except for the decals which really need replacing. None of those will break the bank either.

There is the Revell 1/48 A-10, would suit as well.
Cheers Rob.

I agree on the Revell kit. It goes together well, and looks nice when done. The Academy F-22 might be another option, or a Revell/Monogram or Academy F-15.
