Take a wingtip-to-wingtip measurement of the kit; then do the same with the image(s). Divide the measurement from the kit by the measurement from the image to get the percentage to scale up. For example, the kit measurement is 15mm and the image measurement is 10mm. So, you divide 15/10= 1.5, or 150%, the amount you need to scale up the screen image to match the actual model. It works with any picture, either scaling up or down.

When scaling a screen image down, its done the same way: divide the smaller measured dimension (in this case, from the model/part) by the larger dimension (from the screen image). For example, divide 10mm (the dimension taken from the kit part, this time) by 15mm (the corresponding measurement from the screen image). 10/15= .66666, or 67%, the percentage you will need to scale the image down to match the kit/part.
