Hey guys,
Hoping I can get some help. I have built a 1/7 scale R/C F-18. It has gone to the painter to be painted... he wanted to use small 3oz rattle cans. So I bought model masters (12 cans)the only color they had that was close too the two tone I needed in cans ( dark ghost gray & light ghost gray ) was a light sea gray and flat gull gray. He did a test and said this doesn't look right.
Has any one used the Dark & Light ghost gray in cans by Tamiya? does the color look right? is it a satin?
Does it spray well?

I need 12 cans of the stuff but want to make sure it will look good...

I know this is a strange post, just hoping someone that has used it can help me out

Tamiya's AS-? rattle cans are fine for your project are a good match. though the usually have a flat/matte finish. Usually you have to use a clear gloss for the water slide decals and then Satin or matte coat to get the desire finish again. To note if you are painting on the markings a flat finish will be fine. Only the CAG and museums get gloss and Satin. HTH Steve
