Well deserved! I followed the build with great interest (not every day you get to see a master of a trade at work

) and the result is simply spectacular. Not that it was the worlds easiest model to start with either...
For those of us who wants to read up on the build, here is the
link to the build thread!
Finally, if we ask nicely, could we please have a few more photos of the finished model

?

Congratulations Chuck!
Richly deserved - and, as with all your builds, a wonderful source of inspiration to us all!
All the best

Certainly one of the most inspirational and educational build threads we will ever see. A very worthy winner amongst a great group of builds.
Congrats Chuck

Well done Chuck, a educational build that also brought it's own humour and story along for the ride with the use of your drawings.

Chuck,
An honor well earned! each of your builds are multiple models in themselves. I am always in awe of your posts both for your technical modeling skill and for your ability to present the work in graphics.

Thanks, everyone- it's a true honor to win this award in the company of such fine modelers! I'll say it again- each entry was exemplary and a joy to behold.
I'd also like to thank Jess for the write-up of my thread, and taking the time to make me sound intelligent 'n' stuff.

Cheers, Jess- and cheers to all!

Well deserved Chuck. An utterly superb build.
I love half-tracks and Tiger tanks. And Lancaster bombers. I model to please myself not others. I may not be the best of modellers, but I'm happy with what I end up with.
