Hello!

Sometimes a build is needed just for fun...

That´s the goal with this one!

Tamiya kit with some home-made details, as we are in crisis down here in Portugal (so they say)!!!!!

What punch do you use?

Where do you find the fine gauge wire for the seat belt and what do you wrap it around?

I don`t own a punch, so i drilled those holes out.
The fine wire came from a mock jewellery store. they have the most used gauges, and are extremelly cheap!

Thanks all for the replies!

The detail added was painted it using a lot of "artistic license.

Although some of the detail is overscale, i like the way it turned out.

My best regards!

José Pedro

Some excellent scratch building there José Pedro and the end result is as good as any aftermarket resin stuff.

I look forward to seeing how the build develops - well done!

Pedro, just an outstanding detailing effort for the cockpit. And the weathering just makes it really pop and come together, well done. while I've been using enamel wrapping wire, I've discovered in a craft store beading wire that comes in a multitude of diameters. Going to be trying it out myself. BTW, it's dirt cheap.

I've subscribed to your build, and will be following along. Looking forward to your next update.
Joel
