Hi all
as in the past years I will try to put up some news from Nuremberg toy fair. There is only one of my IPMS D collegues at the show right now, so I will start with a small update:
here is my usual list of new Items, for now only compiled of stuff previuosly available. I hope to get some input from the show tomorrow:
Nuremberg List 2013
I have also a small photo selection of a few companies. Only 68 pix so far more will follow:
Nuremberg 2013 Pictures (VH)
I will go there on Friday and stay til it is over...
all the best
Steffen
P.S. there will be probably a large selction of pix on prime portal. Eduard also has some on their FB page

Steffen,
Thanks!
A 1/32 N1K2 Shiden-kai! WOW!!!!!!!
The Di Vinci Flying Machine looks great.
I wonder if Airfix 02710 WWII Japanese Infantry is their old soft figures or their old multipose styrene set?
Thanks!

Looks like they are just doing whats commonly been done before in 48. Guess its ok to stay in the proven safe zone. Would like to see someone come out with that 1/48 S-2A thats been promised, and promised, and promised...

You are probably right, but for my part I am happy Revell is finally (FINALLY) doing the 48 scale Tornado and that they still have some 48 scale offerings,
I am, not complaining about Eduard either, I like their MiG-21 and sure will buy a couple PFs, and Spit XIs and Bf 109Gs .. but as you say, these are safe waters. I would like them to do a Z-37 Cmelak in Interflug Markings (see their FB page a few days back for a scratch build example)) .. no kidding, but I know it will never happen...
BTW Jesse have you seen Zvezdas IL-62M and Il-76 announcements
all the best

I'd heard about the -62, and I'm puzzled about the -76. Is the Trumpeter kit so hard to get that Zvezda feels the need to re-invent the wheel? Oh well, we know how good it'll be, and it's certain to make them money.

Hi Steffen
Thanks for the list and first pics. There is some interesting stuff on the horizon. Apart from the new '109s, Spits and Shiden-Kai, it'll be great to see the 1:48 Javelin from Airfix.
Have a great time at the Show - and give my regards to Jean-Luc.
All the best

Hi Rowan,
we will surely have a good time there
I have seen some pix of the Javelin model kit and it does not really appeal to me... otoh it would be boring if everyone likes the same stuff.
I have added some more pictures to the galery (50)
have fun

Hi all,
I have a second picture gallery ready: Nuremberg 2013 Pictures (AE) 167 pictures of items he was interested in. (you may notice a certain lack of aircraft her, but he is our guy for military and civil car themes).
I have updated the Nuremberg List 2013 with some items in aircraft, figures and military (thanks to Volker and Mathias at teh show).
all the best

Thanks for the report Steffen.
The AZmodel Gotha jet fighter and 1/32 scale Revell Bf 109G-6 is of great interest to me.

Hi all,
today I drove the 510km south to Nuremberg to visit the show (which is BTW not open to public visitors). First thing was to take a few pictures. I did not focus on news but tried to photograph most of the displays concerning scale models:
My pictures (290)
I like this one:
it is showing many of TORO Models 48 scale stuff (focus on polish themes)..
that F-86 is a K in 48 scale. ... fits my interest in Luftwaffe
all the best
Steffen
P.S. I try to add more photos to Andreas Eichendorffs gallery, but I am running out of time and maybe upload these tomorrow
p.p.s. see the last ZM picture ... I photographed the He 219 and it fell in pieces .. no wonder Streib crashed this bird after the first flight ... in which he shot down 5 bombers

Hi Steffen,
Nice to see that you have arrived safely.
Thanks for sharing the pics. They look pretty good! Do you have a new camera?

Last hours of this years toy fair. Despit the lack af a great "shines above all" news it was pretty interesting and yesterday I also found some things I think are pretty cool. First is Deluxe materials Tricky Stick. Kind of a primer for CA glue that allows amazing results. Another interestig thing is Nose art figures in large scale by Flight plan collectible found at the M&D Intl. Booth.
I added another 77 pix to my gallery. To sum everything up I posted over the past days (it was pretty much one looooong day for myself) I add all galleries again (except Jean-Luc Formery's who will give me his pix later):
Pictures Andreas Eichendorff
Pictures Volker Helms
Pictures Steffen Arndt
(Still working on them) and of course the List
Nuremberg 2013
Personally I am looking forward to Eduards Spitfire IX, MPMs He 115, Zvezdas Su-2, ICM new Lw Figures in Winter suit, Revells Tornado and some more (all 48 scale)
all the best

Cheers Steffen
I'm really looking forward to the 1:48 Fireflies too (plus, of course, the 1:32 Tempests - great to see that nose for a Mk. II - although they'll be the wrong scale for you.).
All the best

Thanks for putting up all the photos Steffen, and to the others for taking the photos.
In your gallery, you have some photos of the new Brengun car-door Typhoon- did they say anything about future details sets, i.e. photo etch or resin?

Steffen, is the L-1011 on the Doyusha stand their old standby 1/100 kit?

Hi all
I made it back safely Steffen. Weather was bad the first hour and half, then one hour dry and another hour and a half under the rain. I do not complain, I must be one of the nearest. You will have to drive a lot more tomorrow so take care.
