Hi, everybody.
Here is my new WIP - RAF D.H.9 from Roden's kit in 1/48 scale, I want to build the model of D.H.9 which took part in the Civil war in Russia 1917-1922. This plane had english number Н-5814, when it got into Red Army - it got "white 8" number and fought in Middle Asia.
As always, I started my build from the engine. Not much was added, only several wires...

Amazing start - looking towards more progress...
Question about the wicker seat - is it aftermarket or scratchbuilt?
Our dacha had a very similar set in color and styling - etched forever in my brain

Lovely work Oleg, congrats
What colour did you used for topsides? Doesn't look white, more some shade of blue grey it seems
Cheers
