I'm thinking of using the AS-tan and AS-dark earth on the PCM MK.IXe.
They say it's an artificial acrylic that can be painted over with any other paint type.
Can't find a review.
Any opinions on "Tamaiya airplane (AS) spray paints?

AS paints are synthetic lacquers which means that they may attack enamel undercoats. You should probably seal any enamels on the model with an acrylic clear coat before spraying, and let the paints cure for a good long time before using the Tamiya paint.

The paint itself is really nice. It dries to a semi-gloss, covers very well and the colours are accurate. The spray is fairly broad and heavy right out of the can. Perhaps you might consider decanting it and spraying it from your airbrush as an alternative.

It does come out heavy. If your judiciousness lapses for just a moment you can end up with too much paint on the model.

Very expensive way to buy paint. Just a few cans and you could have an airbrush and supply for lots of future projects. And as Richard said, it comes out way too fast for misting on even coats.
