I'm part way into the build of this kit but looking ahead
I see a potential problem. The landing gear.
On top of the struts, the part that glues into the wing socket, is only 1/16 of an inch long. Or should I say short.
Did anyone run into a problem?
A mistake by the factory?
Did you do a modification?

You could drill the tops of the undercart legs and insert pins made of brass rod. Drill corresponding holes in the mounts inside the wings and then trim the pins flush with the upper surface of the wings. A little superglue will hold it all together.
