Any help establishing the proper width for invasion stripes in 1/48? For wings and fuselage?

Invasion stripes were supposed to be 18" wide so in 1/48 that will be 18/48= 0.375" (3/8") wide.

Remember that not all invasion stripes were done neatly.

24" on multi engined aircraft
8" on liason aircraft (like L-4s)
