As posted to rec.models.scale (anybody else remember the heyday of RMS?), herewith a US Army training film showcasing how to assemble a P-47 in the field, using nothing but hand tools, sweat and a certain amount of bad language.

I've thought some kit instructions were detailed bu this is beyond that....

Great video, Jess. Thanks for sharing it. The Russians did a great job of designing their weapons during the cold war. They were designed to be field assembled and repaired by non-skilled field troops.
