Is the antique fujimi kit my only option? I have a mind to build one of the Wasps that attacked the Santa Fe during the Falklands War. Anyone have any input? Is this wise?

I'm not aware of any other alternative. Luckily the basic shapes are good enough that with "some modelling skills required" you can make a good Wasp from it.

I had this whirlygig in particular in mind:
Magnificently hideous. That red nose is reminiscent of a baboon's bum. I certainly wouldn't want that thing buzzing around my conning tower.
