If Admins need to move this thread to another location please do so. I've started this build finally. Only one piece has been painted, but you have to start somewhere.

If you want your pictures to display in your post, use the little IMG button you'll see at the right side of the black bar at the bottom of the composing window. Click it, then paste your image URL in between the img and /img tags like this:

Hey Dan, keep rolling with the build log here, but also keep in mind that we have a P-47 Group Build going over on the P-47 Heaven forums. You would be very welcome to enlist there, and if you think you will finish this build by the end of October this year you will get a ribbon added to your profile page.

I'm working from my iPad at the moment and being a newbie to i-doodads I have no idea how to create a link to the group build thread. If some kind soul doesn't beat me to it, I will add a link here when I get home in the next day or so.

Either way, good luck with your build, and don't be shy about posting up plenty of progress pictures.

Thanks to both of you. Jessie, thanks for the tip on using the URL in the post. I've tried to do the upload process but could never make sense of it. My pics are within the size limits but never showed. Thanks Damien. I didn't know that. I'll look it up when I get back home on Tuesday.

Got the cockpit completed and intercooler doors installed. Took a pic but photobucket chose to crash just after I uploaded the picutre. Will post when they come back up.
