I'm collecting information for my 1/144 Lockheed L-1011 build for the Airfix II campaign. What I want to do is display it on a relitavely realistic base. Does anyone make 1/144 scale bases for aircraft? What would be the best way to make a reasonably accurate tarmac for an airliner?
I'm a 1/25 truck guy, so I don't know a lot about airctaft.
Thanks,
Jim

Spruemaster has some beautiful tarmac free downloads
they are 1/72 scale, so you need to print them scaled 50%. Trim them carefully and butt four together to make a nice big area.

Thanks, I appreciate it.
Now, how big are these files supposed to be? I tried to print them out (well, print preview anyway), and they are maybe 2" x 3". Does that seem right? If it is, I'm going to need about 100 of these to fit under the L-1011!
Jessica, I grew up in Miami, so I flew out on Miami International all the time.
