The title gave it away. There is a facebook page dedicated to the KEK's and Fokkersaffels. Wilhelm Grubbel is the pilot. As for the plane, I think it is a Fokker EIII.

Interesting detail on the flare gun ,ounting and rack. Very Heath Robinson
