Here is the other 1/72 scale Me 262 I recently finished, this kit from Revell was built SFTB and painted with Model Master enamels.

That is very cool. Love the camo. Is this kit readily available?

Thanks Mike,
I bought my kit years ago but there were a lot of these kits made and they might still be available in some shops.

This was one of the better 1/72 scale kits I have built, everything seemed to fit together very well.

Thanks Magnus,
This thing looks like a Me 262 on steroids.

Hi Les

Lovely work as ever!

I have to admit, though, I look at the size of this beast and the standard '262 engines and I doubt it'd ever get airborne - alternatively, it would just be plain terrifying if it did! It looks seriously under-powered.

I can imagine "Winkle" Brown being faced with the prospect of flying a captured one and saying "You know where you can shove that idea!"

All the best

Rowan

Where do you think Republic got the inspiration for their infamous "gravel sniffer" from?

Thanks everybody!

The fat fuselage, small size of the engines, and main landing gear remind me a lot of a modern airliner.
