Hi guys! I've finally finished my Revell 1/72 F-22 Raptor. This is the first plane I've ever done with weathering. Tips, comments and violent reactions (hope there's none ) are welcome.

I'm not an aircraft expert, but it looks great!

Hi Shonen Red
That looks mighty fine! :-) Are there going to be some underwing stores? - I can see some holes ready for something in the last photo.
Nice job. :-)
All the best

I may add some weapons there but I'm thinking it may ruin the plane's stealth capabilities. I may redo that one. Thanks!

Looks great. I like that it has a nice flat finish to it. Thanks for the pictures.

Shonen, for some reason, that link is timing out on me. Are the pics posted in an Armorama gallery that I could look at?

Funny it seems, why does my F-22 turned out to be bluish while I painted it in light grey?

I just got in and the link was fine for me.
For your first bird its very nice. The construction looks solid.
I'll preface thoughts with the notion that the photos are a bit dark so the real bird may look better.
The last photo shows the middle sidewinder off kilter a smidge (crooked).
For my tasted I would have used a bit more dark wash in the panel lines and in and around the recesses, nocks and cranies near the engine's after burners.

Looks great SR! Nice clean build! How was the Revell kit?
I've seen this bluish effect with other pics too. Maybe it's because lighting was insufficient when the photos were taken. Or maybe it's because flourescent light was used. Nothing beats a natural light

Jeepney, yep, I did use flourescent light. I never had the time for my models to see sunlight cause I am very busy. I always go home at 8-9 pm. As my last resort to posting the pics, I do it at night with my study table's light.
The construction of the bird was nice. However, it was a big problem inserting down the missiles! If you happen to see my AC's weapons, only 5 were there. It's because of the space inside it. It wouldn't fit very good. Plus, I have plans for the extra missiles

Hi there
Flourescent light normally gives green tint to things.
If you're using a digital camera and the colour of your pics seems odd, try a manual white-balance.... "auto" is good, but sometimes it needs a helping hand...
