Hello Luciano,

Nice review, very clear... Thanks...!

Two Asking questions:

Have you (or sombody else)got any closer photograf os the mentioned UHF T-shaped aerials..?

Because a found many pics on the web, not whit the best definition to show the shape...

And the second, the 1000lb bombs used by the Jags on the Desert Storm were the old Mk.17 iron bombs...?

Thanks you very much

Hi Diego,

Here and here are links that show the aerial just behind the cockpit on the air-con intake where the two VHF aerials used to be.

The 1000lb bombs used in 'Desert Storm' I can't tell you the Mark number as it seems to be one thing that is not mentioned even on the RAF's own web site, they all just say 1000lb bomb. The RAF Jaguars carried four, two on each inner wing pylon in tandem (one behind the other) unlike the French who carried their bombs mounted side by side.

I hope that helps

Hello again,

Thanks You Sir...!!!

Ofcourse it helps a lot...!!!

The aerial is not a problem, a cooper beam soldered to a cooper wire... It will do more or less right for me... (some day)

Thanks for the links to the pics, are very nice... Thanks...!

Just to help those wanting to build a Gulf war Jaguar I have just come across THIS site with photos of the British aircraft and details of both the French Jaguar A and British GR.1A load outs for the war.
Hope this helps those building a Gulf war aircraft.
